Having acquired the 11-acre former B&Q warehouse site, Tungsten Park Sheffield at Greenland Road in Darnall, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, new warehouse and industrial buildings of varying sizes are under construction:
Phase 2 - Unit 1A - 49,750 sq ft and Unit 1B - 63,400 sq ft
Phase 3 - Unit 2 - 11,000 sq ft and Unit 3 - 16,500 sq ft
The remaining 2.5 acres to the northern part of the site will be redeveloped for alternative uses such as fast food, trade counter, and other roadside uses.
The site benefits from an extensive and prominent frontage to one of the city’s main arterial routes.
Greenland Road is in a strategic position 2.5 miles east of Sheffield city centre and close to the M1 motorway junction 24 and the Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
Works are due to commence in Q1 2021, with completion expected by Q4 2021. Agents for the project are Gent Visick and Colliers International.
